Every dog is different, which is why I don't believe in treating every walk the same. West End Wanders currently focuses on personal one-to-one walks, walks for dogs from the same household and weekend dog sitting. Whether your dog is confident and energetic, nervous and unsure, or a larger breed that needs a calm and consistent approach, the aim is always to provide a positive experience tailored around them.
SOLO DOG WALKS

Personal one-to-one walks designed around your dog's personality, energy levels and individual needs. I'll collect your dog from home, take them for their walk locally and safely return them afterwards.

Dogs from the same household can enjoy their walk together while still receiving personal attention. These are private household walks, not unrelated group walks.

Sometimes your dog simply needs someone there. Weekend dog sitting takes place in your own home, allowing your dog to stay in their familiar surroundings while receiving personal care and companionship.

EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT
Some dogs can't wait to get out of the door. Others need a little more time, reassurance and patience. I've had experience walking Cockerpoos, Shih-poos, Belgian Malinois and Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mixes, including nervous dogs and reactive dogs. I take the time to understand what makes each dog comfortable and adapt the walking approach around the individual dog.
DOGS WHO NEED A LITTLE EXTRA UNDERSTANDING
Some dogs need more than simply being taken for a walk. I've worked with nervous dogs who need patience and reassurance, as well as reactive dogs who can find encounters with other dogs challenging.
I've also walked larger and stronger breeds, including Belgian Malinois and Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mixes. I'm willing to work with legally compliant XL Bullies in accordance with current UK requirements, including the required lead and muzzle arrangements.
Every dog is considered individually during the free meet & greet so that their needs, temperament and any relevant requirements can be discussed before their first walk.

Before arranging regular walks, I'd love to meet you and your dog. It's a chance to chat about their personality, routine, likes, dislikes and anything else you'd like me to know.
